The prevailing rule of thumb for most of us nowadays is “ng ko ra ungil a de rellii” (it is good for us to do). This social trend tends to be accelerating because it is premised (ngultuil) on what looks good. So the more of whatever you add on would increase the value or importance or social status of your customary product such as food baskets/plates. Another tactic being used is to flood your target people by frequent visitations just a little before your planned custom and then after the fact the visitation slows down or stops. Again all these social behaviors are based on what looks good.
